I have the same fears concerning that Phone Registration thing too. I haven't done mine o. When's the deadline sef? My mum was explaining to me that it would be useful to track down kidnappers and other offenders, but doesn't it also jeopardize the privacy of us ordinary folk?

My dear, na the article I wan put for inside paper you don mention so o! Nigeria with no Data protection, they want all your details and anyone can access it. That is insane! If they want to bar the line make them carry go. I am not registering jack until it is absolutely necessary!

My other line is a contract line so no one is asking me to register. Without all these extra details, we already have ramoant scamming, plus unsolicited marketing, can you imagine what would happen with the registration? No way!

Malmighty Allah keep us safe. LG this one na small Sallah no meat! However if you want chicken pay me a visit :D

my own concern about this sim registration is how they can be able to trace you if you doing any activism that the government finds challenging!

Am not sure i understand this simcard registration business o. As in you guys have to register your simcards with physical pple including your image? What happened to doing it online or over the phone with the company proper? And what's the point of the picture? LG abeg enlighten me.

hmmm. I'm just hearing about the sim card registration thingy, and I don't blame u for not registering yet...it's kinda spooky...

As for the women who threatened to go on strike (or did they?)...seems their tactic worked as Presido Goodluck has declared his intention to run...@ least on his fb page.

I too am just hearing about the sim card registration. It's got advantages and disadvantages. I'm not particularly disturbed about giving out the info they ask for (maybe, I haven't been dealt with before).

i don't have confidence in this sim card registration...my worry is that 419ers should not hijack this idea & render it ineffective!kidnappers would devise another means to communicate for their ransom...you no trust 9jas?
